I started my first semester at CSU in Fall 2018, directly out of high school. I have been taking classes for every Fall, Spring, and Summer semester since. This summer marks my first semester as a junior!
I am an art student, concentrating in sculpture, metalsmithing, and electronic arts. (Leave it to me to code a website last minute for a writing class...) Originally, I was set out to concentrate in photography. Through the introductory visual arts classes required in the first 2 years of CSU's Fine Arts program, I became increasingly fascinated with a more three-dimensional medium: found differently within sculpture and electronic art. Metalsmithing also struck me with surprise; as a challenging technique, it has pushed my artistic discipline to another level. Not to mention, weaving chainmail makes a wonderful pastime in quarantine. Sooo mesmerizing. Pictured below is my most terrifying and proudest sculpture, it accurately visualizes the experience of art school (jokes).
